|| During the Cold War period, there were still vehement battles between the USA and the Soviet Union. The South Asia is a conflicting district. For several reasons, there had been mutually hostile between India and Pakistan since the day they departed. In 1971, the western government of Pakistan holding domestic power suppressed the Awami League in the eastern region who requested autonomy, it caused Pakistan internal political crisis. The military repression in East Pakistan prompted an increasing flow of refugees into India, and India intervened in the crisis with the intention of split up and weaken Pakistan. The Soviet Union supported India; on the contrary, China supported Pakistan. Then the crisis extended, turning into the third India-Pak War gradually.
